Booking Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2026  ·  Aim High Pilot Training (sole trader, Paul Hignett, Essex)

These terms apply to all ground school session bookings made through aimhighpilottraining.co.uk. By completing a booking you agree to these terms.

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking. We do not offer deposit-only or pay-on-the-day options. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are displayed inclusive of any applicable taxes.

Cancellation & refunds

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled session start time are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session are non-refundable. To cancel, email info@aimhighpilottraining.co.uk with your booking reference.

Instructor cancellation

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a session, you will receive a full refund and we will offer you priority rebooking for an alternative date. We will give as much notice as possible.

Online sessions

All ground school sessions are delivered live online via Microsoft Teams. A joining link will be provided in your booking confirmation email. Please ensure you have a stable internet connection, working audio, and ideally a camera. You do not need a paid Teams account — the free app or browser version is sufficient.

Late arrival

Please join the session on time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late to a group session, we may not be able to admit you and the session fee will be forfeited. For 1:1 sessions, late arrival will reduce your session time rather than extending the end time.

Group session capacity

Group sessions are limited to a maximum of 8 students. Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a session is full, it will no longer be available for booking.

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule a booking, please cancel your existing booking (subject to the cancellation policy above) and rebook for an alternative date. We are unable to transfer bookings between sessions directly.

Code of conduct

We expect all students to behave respectfully during sessions. We reserve the right to remove any participant who is disruptive, abusive, or behaves in a way that is detrimental to other students, without refund.

No guarantee of exam success

Our ground school sessions are designed to support your exam preparation. Attendance does not guarantee that you will pass any CAA theory examination. Exam outcomes depend on individual study effort and performance on the day.

Intellectual property

Session materials, slides, and content provided during sessions are for your personal study use only. Recording sessions or distributing materials without our written permission is not permitted.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
